What we collect
Your email address — from Sign in with Apple or Google. Apple may give us a relay address instead of your real one; that is enough for us.
The photos you take of your watch, the documents you attach, and the details of your collection: reference, condition, completeness, and the purchase price if you chose to enter one.
An account identifier and a device key used to confirm that requests come from a real copy of the app.
What we never collect
Your location. The app never asks for it — the country comes from the picker during onboarding, and nothing else.
Your contacts, your health, or what you do in other apps. We do not track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
The serial number
It is stored twice: as a hash that cannot be read back, and as ciphertext. Nobody can search the platform by serial number — not a dealer, not us. That is deliberate: a searchable register of serial numbers is a shopping list for thieves.
Who sees what
A dealer sees a watch only when its owner opens it for appraisal, and even then without the serial number and without the owner’s name or email.
A share link shows nothing on the open web: the page only opens the app.
Deleting your account
Account → Delete account, inside the app. Your email, name, sign-ins, devices, notifications and watchlist are erased. So are the photos, documents, accessories and 3D models of the watches you still own.
What stays is the ownership history of watches you have already handed to someone else — that history is what the new owner was promised. It stays without you: the record points to an emptied row that carries no name, no email and no country.
